She is standing up for herself and for what she believes. She believes that vampires are evil, and from what we've seen so far, she's not wrong. So far, Damon has tried to kill her, he's harassed her time and time again and he abused Caroline, on of her closest friends. I agree! Damon also had no qualms about reminding her that he almost killed her. Also if I'm remembering correctly, no one has apologized to her for the useless death of her grandmother. Elena spent one episode trying to get Bonnie to talk to her, but I don't remember her saying sorry. Stefan hasn't said anything (I know he was going through some stuff, and that he heard Bonnie blamed him, but he hasn't tried yet). And Damon definitely hasn't said anything. It's like they were all going along with their lives thinking she'd work it out herself and come help him when they need her. Well, they were wrong, and I can't wait to see this continue

I have to agree I have found it weird how noone has said something to Bonnie yet about what happened, especially Stefan as I thought him hearing E/B convo would mean a scene and talk between the two but nope nothing.

It feels like everyone was expecting Bonnie to high five and hug Stefan and Damon after what happened.

Sometimes I think some fans feel like the Salvatore brothers deserve more understanding because they're good looking

I think that's why there's a double standard. Because when Damon kills people he looks hot doing it, and women mostly watch this show. That's just my opinion though

I think that people just expected "better" from Bonnie, so they're mad. I'm glad that she did it, Elena needs to realize that her behavior has consequences. She's been walking around acting the like the Queen of England and Bonnie is not down with it. Elena knew Bonnie had a problem with the vampires and she asked something like that of her. Why?

Completely agree

Elena has been blowing off her friends for the Salvatore brothers, and ignoring Bonnie who's been grieving for her Grams. I think you should care more about your best friend that you've known way longer than these guys. Why is no one questioning Elena's judgment?!

I agree Lynn, that was odd of Elena, Bonnie came to talk to her and it doesnt automatically mean that she is ok with them IDK I think that was the writing seriously. Also Damon tried to kill Bonnie, I dont understand why everyone has to be his bff, I like that someone is not ok with him.

Well whatever people think, personally Im loving this Bonnie I wouldnt mind it she went really dark for awhile.

I don't know why, but I find it telling that Elena laughed at Damon mentioning his abuse of Caroline. I agree that nobody has been questioning Elena's judgment, because so far, everybody was on Elena's side. Everybody was understanding. But now, Bonnie isn't anymore, and Elena doesn't seem to understand that.
